Honoring our Veterans on this Remembrance Day
On a snowy day in Regina, a small crowd wearing masks and practicing physical distancing watched as military, police, and first-responders laid wreaths to honor our military veterans of the past, present, and future.
People were discouraged from attending as only 30 dignitaries participated and the crowd was limited to 150 people to ensure social distancing.
The Royal Canadian Legion uses poppy sales to support the Cenotaph and other veteran programs. However, sales are way down this year due to the pandemic. People are encouraged to donate to their local Canadian Legion.
