As a consultant, do you suffer from RFPitis?
RFPitis is the knot in your stomach you get when you waste your time on an RFP that's not really an RFP.
Have you ever spent time and resources responding to an RFP from an otherwise reputable organization only to discover the result was pre-determined and you never had a chance? Or, the organization never did hire any consultant and ended up posting for a position to perform the consulting project with an employee?
I hope organizations of all sizes respect the time and expertise that consultants put in to respond to their RFPs.
